Artist biographical information : Michael Andresen is the tonal retainer of the 12moons
and Healer projects. Michael’s early influences origins from the soundscapes of artists like Kraftwerk, Yello, Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre as well as the more progressive synthetic music from artists such as Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Nine Inch Nails and Frontline Assembly among others. Later impressions came from a wide spectrum of artists and to name but a few - Vir Unis, Patrick O´hearn, Steve Roach, Peter Gabriel, David Arnold, Anthony Rother and the Delta. Michael started his voyage into synthetic music very early in his life, and since then he has been into the constant quest of sculpting sounds and composing music. Thr?ugh numerous cameos Michael has released his music in very different fields such as trance, ambient and house on well-known record labels like Dragonfly, Flying Rhino, Transient, Digital Structures, Spiral Trax and Room4 to among others. The Healer project is the ambient side of this gifted swede. This is where the real magic happens, from the deep inside and via your sound system Michael brings you the soft, soothing tones of tranquillity. Overall, Michael with his 12moons and Healer projects has developed a highly respectful discography over the past few years comprsing of 9 12”s and numerous individual track releases featured on almost 30 compilations. The long awaited 12moons debut album “Solid State” alongside with the second Healer album “Higher Grounds” are both released by Candyflip Records in spring 2004. Michael has already performed live with his many outfits on many parties around the globe, the best known being the Boom Festival 2002 in Portugal.
