Last winter DC entered the studio to record their new album. The concept was an electro dub project which would stray away from the traditional dub form in order to reveal the various influences of the group, from punk-rock to electronica. This is what the title DUB INFECTION denotes: the idea of formatted music whose arrangement has been infected by dub, not in a austere way but more playfully.

And the name is…

The choice of the name of the band refers to a real situation. As the years went by, one of the things we enjoy most is to investigate and to express ourselves through research.

Therefore, sometimes we wonder: what would happen if one musician used the sound of the other?
Could different sources of sound become one and control each other?

What will happen if everybody is connected directly to the other so as to influence each other’s sounds?
But the name also signifies something more profound, more musical, because many people have visited our lab and have left their traces.

We are open and all are welcome, provided that they understand our method.
